Here in the Little White Cabin we're churning away at creating the audiobook version of The Book of Cain. If you've never done this sort of thing before, let me tell you, the challenges involved are many and can be frustrating. You can hear everything in a good recording: from swallowing your spit, to shifting in your seat, to your belly gurgling, to the dog scratching at the door, to water moving in pipes and air moving in the ductwork, to the phone ringing on the other side of the house. Working hard to have it available by the end of this month, so stay tuned. And if you haven't done so already, please hop over to Amazon and BUY THE BOOK!

Yessiday I got some teefs pulled, and the pain seems to be gone, so we're ready to get back to recording the audiobook version of The Book of Cain. Still planning to release it in October. Buy the paperback or Kindle version now!

An unanticipated recurrence of some nasty head and jaw pain is throwing a wrench in the cogs of the audiobook machinery, but we're hoping to be back on track in a week or two. Could be dental, periodontal, maybe sinus-related or a mysterious viral infection, maybe the stress of hearing the "slurp-thunk, slurp-thunk" of the river cat in my dreams, I don't know. Maybe spirits. I'm told there's an ancient burial ground in the bottomland by Cane Creek, and every so often somebody kicks over an arrowhead in the dirt that gets the spirits riled. Could be I'm cursed, but that wears off with patience. And a periodontal cleaning. So I hear, anyway. I'll let you know how it goes.

And don't forget: Buy the Book of Cain on Amazon.
